Carmina Miana is an Ottawa-based interdisciplinary artist that synthesizes digital and analog techniques in image-making. She is deeply interested in utilizing craft processes to critique female labour and duty.
Her current work involves stop motion animations with textiles and fibre — implementing cross stitching, tapestry, natural dyeing and needle felting.
Carmina graduated OCAD University’s Illustration program in 2017.
